I had a near party wipe at the fire dart room too. An enemy would hop in and the AI would stop moving [my AI, not the allied bot] and they all died. Luckily, my warrior was durable enough to survive, kill, and make it to the rez shrine.
I don't mean to insult your playing ability, but my party continually massacred the wind riders, even though 6/8 were casters. Try a PUG group for the dungeon/quest, or just make sure you survive to make it to the shrine and you should be fine.

Same here, I barerly survived with 5 henches and 1 hero. Ogden and Xandra died and I had to finish the quest without them. Lucky, you can pull golems instead of fighting will 10 at one time. But yes, lowering damage/effect of both Fire and Ice darts would be nice, as it's kinda stupid that a weak dungeon has tougher enviorment effects than DoA or The Deep.

You really don't need buggs against it if you stay in protection, no? And... have you been to the Deep? It's effects are FAR worse than that one tiny hall.

LoL poor bookahs.
It wasn't that hard, you just gotta be smart about it.
I just used heroes and henchies and got through ok.
The fire darts were a challenge, but I pulled through with only one wipe.

staying in the golem's circle do protect you, use a longbow to pull the sentry golems into the circle and you'll be fine

You have to flag your hench heroes - BEFORE the circle gets to them.. so change your flag position and put it just outside the circle, by the time they run up to it, the circle will be around it... plus they can take care of Sentry Golem while still in the circle.

I don't understand, all saying different things. My experience was that even in the circle, I was dying. And my group died off very fast. What is killing us then? I tried continual flagging to keep group in circle; didn't work.

Cryshal, enemy bots invade your circle of happiness. They are probably killing you and distracting your party so they don't stay in the circle.

Very easy dungeon and like they said in the fire dart room just keep them in the circle as best as possible that the worker golem creates. Also a run skill for yourself to run 3 of the rooms which is tje key room, deactivation room and the flux room.

There ARE opposing golems in that room too, maybe they killed you?
And the way I made it through that room was whenever my team needed healing, or was going to fight a golem, I stood in front of the protection one (With my heros and hench right by me) so it blocked it from walking any further. I got through without wiping that way.

Yea thats how i did it, but when i got near the end the circle just kept moving even though i had the golem blocked and standing still.

Yep, I think that golem is bugged. He didn't stop for me neither and I lost two NPC's thanks to that. I mean, I could make him move, then click on him to stop.. But he kept moving. So heroes were busy at both following me within circle, healing themselves and fighting with golem. It was too much for them :/

I made this quest easily the first time even though my stupid heroes/henches couldn't stay within the protection circle in the fire dart area. I did though, and got to the res shrine on the other side and deliberately died so we all ressed there. My only wipe so far in EotN.
As I was saying it was my first time so didn't know what to expect in terms of mobs - I brought a MM hero only to find out there were no exploitable corpses. Couldn't be arsed to go back and change him and still beat it pretty easily.
Overall, EotN has been an absolute cakewalk with Heroes + Henches. I'm kinda dissapointed in this regard.

What?!?! This was pretty easy for me...if it helps, I'm a warrior.
IIRC my party was this: Me (W) Xandra, Gwen, Mhenlo, Lina, Zho, Talon, Herta.
And the room with the fire arrows, when I stayed in the circle it protected me so maybe its just a glitch.

Is it possible for a Ranger to run the fire room?

The fire dart room is a tough nut to crack, esp with only hero/hench. they often slip out of the protective circle if you dont flag them every 2/3 seconds.
I did it though, and went on to beat the quest.
About the wind riders: they are incredibly weak, my ele heroes tore through great swathes of them. I actually consider them the weakest foe ive met so far in GWEN.
